CELENUS Kliniken is a nationwide provider of healthcare services with a focus on inpatient and outpatient medical rehabilitation. The clinics specialize in different fields of medical rehabilitation. Specifically, these are psychosomatics, orthopaedics, cardiology, oncology, integrative medicine and naturopathy, as well as mother-child therapies. CELENUS arose from the acquisition of eight rehabilitation clinics from Marseille-Kliniken AG and its subsidiary, Karlsruher Sanatorium AG, by funds managed by AUCTUS. The existing management team of the clinics took a significant stake in the Group. With the acquisition of three more rehabilitation clinics in May 2010, the CELENUS Group has now grown to 11 rehabilitation clinics with over 2,000 beds, making it one of the leading providers in the German rehabilitation market.
