The transaction
The financial strategic partnership between AUCTUS and Déco S.p.A. (“Déco”) is the foundation of a pan-European group specializing in flooring and cladding systems for indoor and outdoor use. Déco has particular strengths in quality, design and customer orientation and has already been listed among the 1000 fastest-growing European companies. Déco has its headquarters near Bergamo in Italy and generates a turnover of more than 30 million euros with particularly environmentally friendly products and design solutions. Déco works with an extensive network of specialist dealers throughout Italy and, in the future, other European countries.
The investment in Déco is AUCTUS’ 31st transaction in Italy since 2007 (out of a total of >415 since the foundation of AUCTUS) and the 6th active Italian platform.

AUCTUS sees great potential in the market, particularly in connection with the increasing importance of living spaces as an expression of personal identity and lifestyle, as well as the growing appreciation of sustainable and environmentally friendly materials. Déco will thus form the nucleus of a group that focuses on high-quality and durable products.

We are looking for market and quality leading interior and exterior design companies in Italy and other European countries in the following areas:
- Floor coverings and cladding systems made of composite materials or wood
- Design solutions in the areas of lighting, decorative cladding and wall panels and related products for private and corporate customers
